This public page documents the complete PicBits messaging flow. The actual signup screen shows the one-time verification disclosure and the separate, optional Daily Puzzle Alerts checkbox together before any code is requested. No login is required to review this page.

The page shows the mobile-number field, the one-time verification disclosure, and the separate Daily Puzzle Alerts checkbox. The alerts checkbox is unchecked by default and is not required to request a code or create a profile.

- Open the exact signup URL: https://picbits.io/?account=1.
- Enter a mobile number. The page displays a separate Daily Puzzle Alerts checkbox that is unchecked by default.
- Optionally select that checkbox to consent to one recurring PicBits Daily Puzzle message per day.
- Select TEXT ME A CODE to request one automated PicBits account-verification SMS.
- Enter the one-time code and choose a username. The selected or unselected alert preference is then saved with the profile.
The verification code does not enroll the player in recurring messages. Players can request a code, create a profile, play PicBits, and make any purchase without selecting the Daily Puzzle Alerts checkbox.
Recurring-message consent controls
- The SMS checkbox starts unchecked.
- The player must actively select it to request daily alerts.
- The checkbox is visible on the actual signup screen before the player requests a verification code.
- A verification code and profile can be created when the checkbox remains unchecked.
- The earlier verification code does not opt the player into Daily Puzzle Alerts.
- PicBits sends one recurring message daily only to players who opted in.
- PicBits does not use purchased, rented, or shared contact lists.
